Distance Learning Course Approval
Proposals to offer existing courses via distance education must be submitted to JSU在线 批准. The proposal packet for each course must contain the 课程建议表格, 课程行动表格和一个课程 教学大纲 that has been created using the template for online courses.
The department chair’s signature on the 课程的建议 和 课程行动 形式 indicates that the course has met the requirements set forth by the University’s traditional course approval procedures (e.g., University Undergraduate or 研究生 Curriculum Committees). After the course is approved, faculty member initiates the process of getting course materials online.

- Distance Learning Course Syllabus Template (Download instructions to open in MS Word: After the Google document opens, click File on the menu –> click Download –> Click Open/Save to open the template in MS Word, depending on your web browser).
For Canvas Enhanced courses
If the online course instructor plans to use Canvas to supplement course instruction in the traditional (face-to-face) course, “Yes” for “Supplement” should be selected in the Canvas Course Delivery section on the Master Schedule File:
